ScribeLens

Pilot ScribeLens in your school, free for a term

Teachers check a whole class set of essays at once, keep each set as a class assignment with a short class summary, and open the sentence-level evidence behind every result, so a conversation with a student starts from specifics, not an accusation.

What teachers get

How a pilot works

For one term, the teachers taking part get the Pro features at no cost: batch upload, My classes, unlimited report exports and a larger monthly word allowance.

We set it up with you by email, check in during the term, and ask for honest feedback at the end. There is no obligation to continue.

Students' work and privacy

Text is analysed in memory and is not stored on ScribeLens servers. Batch results and saved class assignments are kept only in the teacher's own browser, on their own computer, so students' work is never sent to ScribeLens for saving.

A report is stored on our server only if a teacher chooses to create a verification link, and that copy is deleted automatically after 180 days.

Because saved assignments live in the browser, use one computer per class and don't save assignments on a shared computer.

Built to be fair to students

No AI detector is proof on its own. ScribeLens results are indicators to review, which is why every flag comes with its reason and the class summary never ranks students.

We ask schools to treat a result as the start of a conversation, alongside drafts, revision history and what the student says about how they wrote it.

Frequently asked questions

Who can join a pilot?

Any school or department. Email us with roughly how many teachers would take part and which subjects, and we will reply with next steps.

Does it work with Google Classroom, Moodle or Canvas?

Not as a built-in integration yet. During a pilot, teachers download the submissions and drop them into batch upload. If your school needs an integration, tell us: it helps us decide what to build next.

Is students' writing stored?

No. Text is analysed in memory and not stored on our servers. Saved class assignments stay in the teacher's browser. The only exception is a report a teacher chooses to share with a verification link, which is deleted after 180 days.

Is a ScribeLens result proof that a student used AI?

No. It is a probabilistic signal with the evidence attached, meant to inform a teacher’s judgement and a conversation with the student, not to replace them.

What happens after the pilot?

You decide. Teachers can keep using the free plan, move to Pro, or we can talk about an arrangement for the whole school. Nothing is billed automatically.
